The following video sessions will help you develop a general knowledge of the characteristics of children in various age groups, enabling you to be more effective in teaching according to their needs. Student notes are provided in your Understanding Today’s Child Student Manual behind the Age Group Characteristics tab. You may want to take additional notes as you listen. The notes you take will help you complete other assignments in the course. Feel free to watch the video as many times as you would like and to use the controls to move through the presentations at your own pace.
