Other Fees
Additional Room Charge: If you need to arrive before your course(s) begins, or stay an extra day beyond the completion of your module(s), you may occupy your room at an additional charge of $40.00 per night. Weekend meals are a cost per meal charge.
Guest Room Charge – Extended family or guests may visit and stay on campus. Please contact the CMI Registrar for reservations, room and food costs.
Security Deposit (Room, Key and Key Card) – Payment should be made at time of registration in the amount of $50 in cash as a security deposit. Please see the Student Handbook for details.
Optional On Campus Computer Usage Fee – Computers, a printer, and a copy machine are available in the technology lab. A technology fee of $10.00 per week will be charged for equipment usage. Payment should be made at time of registration.
Linen Rental – Linens are available for rent for a nominal fee. Please see the Student Handbook for details.
Shuttle airport service – A one-way shuttle service is available for $25.00 per person. This fee is payable to the CMI office upon registration. Please make your arrival time at the St. Louis between 8:00 am and 3:00 pm. See the Student Handbook for further details.

Tuition and Fees at US and International Locations
Prices for individual courses and full programs taking place in various locations across the US and around the world are set independently. Contact the person listed for the course you are interested in or for the region of the world you are interested in and they can give you accurate fee information.
Description of Fees
Application Fee – A one time non-refundable application fee is required with application for enrollment into any course taken on campus.
Administrative Fee – A non-refundable administrative fee is payable with the first payment of the Children’s Ministries Institute® (CMI®) bill. The administrative fee covers orientation week costs, recreation fees, equipment, class photo, graduation fee, etc. The fee is $180.00. If attending individual courses, the administrative fee is calculated for each course.
Room – CMI offers private rooms for all single students and apartments at affordable costs for married couples with children. Apartments range in size from 2-3 bedrooms with cooking facilities. Your living accommodations will be ready and waiting for you. There is no extra charge for children living in apartments. Priority use of apartments is given to those attending the full twelve week program.
Board – A beautiful dining room is available for your convenience to serve students breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Students and their families living in the apartments have the choice of cooking for themselves or eating in the dining room. A meal plan should be prepared for families before arriving on campus. Contact the CMI Registrar to help design your individualized food plan and price.
Materials – Students on campus will receive their books during orientation and before each course begins. Therefore, it is not necessary for on campus students to order their books in advance.
Application Fee – A one-time non-refundable application fee is required with application for enrollment into any course taken on campus or any full eight, ten, or twelve-week course taken online.
Materials – All materials should be ordered for delivery prior to the first day of class. If students do not have the required materials when courses begin, they may miss assignment deadlines which may jeopardize student success. Although most of the course material in the form of streamed video is available online, other course materials may be in the form of texts, manuals, downloads, flash-drives, CDs or DVDs. To ensure materials arrive prior to the course start-date, students in the U.S. are advised to order 3-4 weeks in advance, and students outside the U.S. are advised to order at least 6 weeks in advance.
Online Administrative Fee – A non-refundable administrative fee is included in the tuition for each online Children’s Ministries Institute course. The $50.00 administrative fee covers registration and enrollment processing costs.
Proctor Fees – Some courses involve practicums that require a proctor one, two or three times during the course. A fee of $10.00 should be paid to your proctor at each scheduled meeting.
