Congratulations on completing Section 1 of the Ministry to Generation Z course! In Section 2, you will expand your understanding of generations from a biblical perspective. The video session that you watch will lay a solid foundation. You will also select one of five Scripture passages to study in greater detail. In order to distribute the reading equally in the class, your instructor will assign you the Scripture you are to read, study, and summarize. If you would like to select a particular Scripture passage, please send an email to your instructor at least one week before Section 2 begins that states your choice. The Scripture passage choices are:

• Deuteronomy 6:1-9
• Psalm 78:1-8
• 2 Chronicles 34:1-3; 19-21; 29-33
• Ezra 3:8-13
• Ephesians 3:14-21

You will summarize the insights you gained from the Scripture passage in a 250-350 word forum post. Your classmates will do the same, allowing you to benefit from their studies. You will want to post your summary as early as possible in Section 2 so that there will be time to converse with your classmates. The forum rubric will provide grading details.

In Section 2, you will also interview five Generation Z children in the eight-to-twelve age range using the questionnaire provided. This activity will help you understand the worldview of these children. As you review your completed questionnaires, note trends that you see in this age group that may differ from the characteristics identified in your reading from Section 1. You will share and compare your findings with your classmates in a forum discussion.

Your assignments and activities for this section will be presented in the recommended order of completion.
