In Explore and Tour the Ways to Score: Raising Funds Brendan and Nerus will do a high-level exploration of ten different fundraising opportunities including Setting and Achieving Reasonable Goals, Understanding and Benefitting from Reporting, Acquiring and Cultivating New Donors, Planned Giving, Event Management, Direct Mail and Email Campaigns, and more! This 50-minute session will give a brief overview of each area and provide practical tips to move toward greater and greater results. Some strategies may not apply to every part of the world, but everyone will benefit from this multi-faceted workshop!

Nerus McEwen has served as the Director of Planned Giving for CEF for over 21 years. She assists CEF friends and family in the area of estate planning and gifts of both cash and non-cash assets. Her passion for the ministry shows in her commitment to build ministry partners. Nerus presents planned giving seminars during special donor events. She also leads fundraising training sessions for CEF state and local staff.
Brendan Troost believed in Jesus at the age of 16 through a Child Evangelism Fellowship worker. He later attended Christian Youth in Actionin 2008 and began working at CEF International Headquarters as an intern in 2013. He then became a full-time staff member at Headquarters as USA development coordinator. Since 2010, Brendan has been involved with fundraising for the CEF Ministry. He is currently the Assistant Director of Global Partnership Ministries.
