Specific Preparation of the Bible Lesson and Bible Lesson Assignment 2

Watch the video class session on Specific Preparation of the Bible Lesson and follow along with the corresponding notes in your TCE Level 2 Student Manual beginning on page 63. Feel free to watch the video as many times as you would like and to use the controls to move through the presentations at your own pace.

Bible Lesson Assignment 2 (Due Monday)

1. Read your assigned Bible passage four times. Use the reading step questions to think through the passage and make note of the characters, places, and time when the story took place. Download the “Studying the Bible Passage” worksheet (below) to complete this assignment, then upload the completed document in the Assignment section below. Please submit by Monday at 11:55 PM, Central Time. 

2. Prepare an outline, listing the Progression of Events (list a minimum of 8 story facts and a maximum of 20). Download the “Working on the Bible Lesson” worksheet (below) to complete this assignment. Please complete only the Progression of Events section of the worksheet at this time. You will use the same worksheet for Assignment 4 when you add the Main Teaching, Objective, and Introduction.  After completing the Progression of Events for this assignment, upload the document in the Assignments block below. Please submit by Monday at 11:55 PM, Central Time.
