Defense Paper Assignment (Matthew and Mark) Copy

Using the notes that you have taken as you have read and viewed the course content, write a paper explaining what Matthew 18: 1–14 (two-page minimum, in-depth) and Mark 10:13-16 (one-page minimum) teach related to a theology of child conversion. Do not include your personal opinion about what we should be doing today in regards to teaching children. Simply explain what the passages teach. Use Greek words as given in class, and include appropriate quotes or illustrations along with other supporting Scripture.

Requirements:

• Double-spaced, 10-12 point type using Times New Roman, Calibri, Verdana, or Arial fonts
• Do not type out the scripture portion.
• Pages must be numbered.
• Include in-text citations to denote when you are quoting a person or referring to a particular book or article. All quotes must be in quotation marks. If the quote is longer than 5 lines, it must be indented and single-spaced.
• Include at least one quote from a Christian leader to support your arguments (must be documented in-text).
• Include a bibliography page at the end of your paper.

This paper will be included as part of the complete paper defining and defending the theology of child conversion that will be submitted in Week 4. Please look at some of the final paper examples below for an idea of what your final paper should look like.
