    Yes, I agree. Children need to understand these truths. I especially like Romans 6:1-2, to encourage students that it is by God’s act of grace, His Son dying on a cross for the forgiveness of our sins that we are saved from the punishment of sin, eternal separation from God, and that God’s grace is also available for us to live in a manner that shows our love and appreciation for what He has done for us. And if we sin, we need to confess our sin to be cleansed from sin and continue to enjoy His grace in our lives (1 John 1:9). Living in God’s grace, His forgiveness, is living in the light (John 3:19-21), and when we do that, we need not be ashamed of our behavior.
